Siding and a Little History December 2007 - April 2008

Roofing is complete.......Which was given to us as a gift from anonymous.   50 year roofing top of the line, what a blessing THANK You so much you know who you are!
Now for a little history.  The roof was completed in the fall.  I think we were going to wait until  spring to do the siding because we went on trip to Disney World with Zach's parents in Dec.  Just the two of us.

We had a wonderful time while we were there.  Then Christmas came and went and all this time not knowing that Zach just wasn't feeling very well.
Then at the end of Feb. he came down with fever.  It turned  into a bone infection that could not be found, which is how we found out he had a bad heart valve.  He was in the hospital for 2 months.  His heart surgery was on April 15.
During his stay at the Hospital our sub-contractor Mike Kennedy talked to Parr Lumber who donated our siding
and Kennedy Construction put it on for us.
Our house has sat like this now for 4 years waiting for the economy to improve as we build our new business, Accessible Comforts, DBA - Cobblestone Homes LLC

Decking and Framing - May 2007

These piles of wood were pre-fabbed houses, three of them, that were given to us by Parr Lumber, they were going to scrap them.  We just had to get them home.  They sat in our driveway for six months before we started pulling nails and more nails and more nails... I think we are still finding nails in our driveway.

All the walls are from those donated pre-fabbed house walls

It all started out pretty wet!!

10 According to the grace of God given to me, like a skilled master builder I laid a foundation, and someone else is building upon it. Let each one take care how he builds upon it.  1 Cor. 3:10
